President Muhammadu Buhari has praised Gov. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State on his rise as the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors' Forum (NGF).
The President, in an announcement by Mr Femi Adesina, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, in Abuja on Thursday, said Fayemi's decision by accord demonstrated the level of trust in him by his associates.
He encouraged the new administrator to see the decision as a one of a kind chance to manufacture an agreeable and productive working association with the Federal Government and different levels of government.
"The central goal of the Nigeria Governors' Forum consistently should be the higher enthusiasm of the general population of this nation above factional, political, religious or provincial contrasts," he said.
Buhari said the Federal Government would keep on supporting the Forum in its excellent destinations.
The president likewise praised the quick past NGF executive, Gov. Abdul'aziz Yari of Zamfara for his initiative styles.
