Just as the Minister said at the summit in Ottawa, “without immigration, our ability to grow our economy would become an impossibility” These were the exact words he used.

The Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, Canada has expressed the need for Canada to bring in skilled immigrants who will positively impact the country’s economy through their various skills.

In 2015, Canada introduced the Express Entry, which replaced the old first-come, first-serve immigration system. The new system help to bring capable candidates who are willing to work and earn money to Canada; instead of selecting candidates who applied first but don’t have what it takes to develop the country.
The Express Entry system uses a score-based system called the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) to rank applicants’ profiles; any applicant that scores above the required cut-off mark will be invited to apply for a Canadian visa. The approach will help both the immigrants and the Canadian government since they both want something from each other; the Canadian government wants to improve their economy while the immigrants want to make a better living.

- Work Experience (Usually one year and above)
