Court Chooses June 23rd To Adress The case File Of Na’Allah’s

The Court of Appeal Sokoto Division has fixed June 23 for hearing in a suit documented by Malam Sadiq Sule-Iko testing the selection of Sen. Bala Na'Allah as the All Progressive Congress (APC) Kebbi South Senatorial District hopeful.

Sule-Iko, moved toward the redrafting court to challenge the choice of Federal High Court in Birnin Kebbi that struck out his suit in which he tested the legitimacy of Na'Allah's selection during the APC primaries led in October 2018.

At the sitting on Friday, the Appellant's Counsel, Mr Abubakar Suleiman, moved an application to revise the starting gathers which were contradicted by the Respondent's Counsel, Mr Afraimu Jingi.

The advice contended on the legitimateness to impact changes on the request after exile of stipulated period as per pre-race matters guideline and Court rules.

The Presiding Judge, Justice Ahmed Belgore, deferred the case until June 23, to hear primary intrigue and gave Respondent Counsel five days for answer on movement papers served on him on the change supplications.

NAN reports that the lower court struck out the case because the suit was not documented inside the 14 days term as required by the Constitution.

It held that regardless of the inconsistencies, terrorizing, police badgering at the essential decision hung on Oct. 3, 2018 and Oct. 4, 2018, the offended party neglected to document the suit inside the required time and it has rendered the case "inept".

The court additionally blamed Sule-Iko's direction for not marking the writ of request which couldn't supply legitimate data to the court.
