The federal government has told parents to be calm over the continued closure of schools.
The Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, said this on Tuesday, during the 2020 Policy Meeting on Admission to Teritary Institutions in Nigeria by the Joint Admissions and Marticulation Board (JAMB).
According to the Minister Nwajiuba, the government are doing everything within its power, to protect both live and livehood.
He said, Let me assure all citizens that the government is very much bothered about the long lockdown of the nation's education institutions especially and the economy in general.
The Federal Government is trying all possible means to make sure that both live and livehood are given the top most priority that they deserve.
The presidential Task Force is working assiduously with facts and figures that mirror the reality of our recent situation and circumstance.
Nwajiuba also listed conditions for the reopening of schools, saying heads of institutions to start preparations.
