This was uncovered in an announcement by the Acting Director of PICA, Mr John Waitono, who is driving the group as illustrative of the Permanent Secretary, Special Duties, Federal Ministry of Finance, Dr Mohammad Kyari Dikwa, during the activity.

The announcement said the Federal Government endorsed the lead of the activity for those in the Diaspora in London, England because of the job the city of London played as the European Operational Office of the outdated NAL.

It noticed that the substance of the activity is to ease the hardship being experienced for over 10 years by the influenced ex-staff while hanging tight for their advantages, and to spare them the pressure and money related weight of venturing out to Nigeria for the activity.

A comparable exercise had occurred in Kano, Lagos and Enugu habitats for the more than 6, 000 ex-laborers of NAL, following the endorsement of N22.6 billion by President Muhammadu Buhari, to pay their qualifications.

The Federal Government had paid the initial 50 percent of the privileges to the ex-specialists who had finished their check practice in October 2018.

President Muhammadu Buhari, who had apologized for the more than ten years disregard by past organizations, gave the order that the confirmation and installment practice for the ex-staff in the Diaspora be done in London to spare them the expense and worry of going down to Nigeria.
