For Four Years, I Respected INEC's Independence, Says Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari said he regarded the autonomy of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and gave it a pass mark for leading what he portrayed as free and reasonable races in Nigeria.

The races which were defaced by far reaching gear and savagery has been depicted as the more regrettable races led in Nigeria since its arrival to majority rule in 1999.

The President made the acclamation while conveying his location to honor Nigeria's vote based system day.

He stated, "Today, we are favored to stamp the longest time of solid fair authority and fifth serene exchange of intensity starting with one equitably chosen government then onto the next in Nigeria.

"All through the most recent four years, I regarded the freedom of INEC. I guaranteed that INEC got every one of the assets it required for autonomous and unbiased administration of decisions in the nation.

"Every single invested individual are concurred that the ongoing races, which aside from pockets of distress, were free, reasonable and tranquil.

"I thank every one of the general population who worked for our gathering, who crusaded and who voted in favor of us. I thank my kindred Nigerians, who, since 2003 have reliably voted in favor of me.

"Triumph is your most prominent reward; harmony, solidarity and more prominent flourishing will be our aggregate leg."
