It’s a publicly-funded college in Ontario, Canada, and has three main campuses: Lakeshore campus, Humber North campus, and Humber Orangeville campus. The institution is known for impacting career-based knowledge and has over 6000 applicants from around the globe.
The schools offer admission in over 190 full-time programs in over 40 disciplines, at levels ranging from certificate, diploma, ESL programs to degrees. Below are some of the scholarship programs available to international students in Humber college;
INTERNATIONAL ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS
This scholarship is available to new intakes, who are coming for their graduate certificates, diploma, and advanced diploma students, joining the school in January, May, and September.
The scholarship involves reducing students’ tuition fees by $2000; throughout their first-year studies.
Other details of the scholarship may include;
- The scholarship is granted to students with high academic grades
- Each semester, new students are awarded a scholarship worth $2000 (10 undergraduates and 10 postgraduates)
- Students who receive their acceptance letter and confirms it before;
- January 30th, 2021 for May 2021 Semester and
- May 30th, 2021 for September 2021 Semester
Students who qualify for the scholarship will first have to pay their tuition in full; the scholarship money will be credited to their student account after the 10th day of the lecture. The money is usually paid installmentally, part of it in the first semester while the remaining in the second semester.
- Applicants must apply for a full-time program in the school to participate in this scholarship program.
- Students must receive and confirm their acceptance letter.
- Scholarships are not refundable and can’t be deferred.
- An incomplete application will not be approved.
BACHELOR’S DEGREE SCHOLARSHIPS
Just as I stated before, the scholarship is based on students’ academic performance. Graduating high school students going for a degree program in Humber college will be considered for the scholarship based on their performance in their high school.
