Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has said that the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) must apologize to the Nigerian governors or face a legitimate tussle from them.
Review that the NFIU had given an order that governors should never again mess with assets collecting to neighborhood government t regions from the organization account as from June 1, 2019.
Ortom, in an association with newsmen in Makurdi on Tuesday said the NFIU was by that mandate, painting every single Nigerian senator as extremely questionable focusing on that not all governors are fake.
He clarified further that governors had just met with President Muhammadu Buhari over the issue including that if the NFIU isn't called to arrange, the governors may have no other choice than to look for review in court.
"Governors need statements of regret from NFUI. We previously told the President our psyches and if that isn't done, we will go to court. The way that it is going on in express An or B does not mean it is going on in Benue," Ortom expressed.
