News has it that a middle-aged woman lost her life, While four others sustained diverse degrees of injury in a fatal accident at Obosi road, Nkpor Anambra State on Monday.
The accident occured by 11:51am, it involves nine persons and seven vechicles, including an articulated truck conveying cooking gas, a tricycle and five other vechicles.
It was said that the truck was descending a hill when it suddenly lost control and also following brake failurewhich rammed into six vechicles.
An eye witness stated that the woman died at the spot of the incident while the injured where rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The State Sector Public Rducation Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Pascal Anigbo, Confirmed the incident.
He said, "A multiple Road Traffic Crashing involving seven(7) vechicles has been recorded today being Monday 11th May, 2020 at Obosi -Nkpor road near Elohim Oil Project Nig. Ltd.
Four male adults sustained several degrees of injury and the only female was confirmed dead by the doctors at the Boromeo Hospital, Onitsha, where the injured victims where rushed to by the FRSC from upper Iweka Outpost.
